One of the biggest influences in the spiritual development of students is for them to witness their parents or guardians doing some kind of ministry during their adolescent years. For this reason, the YLT makes every effort to engage and empower parents and guardians through volunteers. We have over 150 volunteer spots that need to be filled each year. When your student first joins the youth group, we add parents and guardians to a master recruitment list. Every person on the list is asked to volunteer in some way at least once a year. If you have just recently started attending SYG, or you have not been asked in a year to volunteer, please send us an EMAIL and we will make sure you are added to our list!
